An evening here

The best part of the day happens outside.

Almost every review mentions the same three things. This is how most nights go.

  1. String lights strung over the gravel fire pit circle and teal Adirondack chairs

    Dusk

    The string lights come on

They switch on by themselves over the yard. Grab a spot on the porch swing or an egg chair and watch the fireflies start up.

  2. Teal chairs around the stone fire pit with the house behind

    After dinner

    S'mores at the fire pit

A stone fire ring with plenty of chairs. Kids roast marshmallows, grown-ups stay out late.

  3. The hot tub lit up at night with the fire pit glowing behind it

    Late

    A soak before bed

The hot tub stays heated, so there's no waiting. Stepping stones lead back to the porch and fresh towels are inside.

From our family

We spend a month at this house every summer, so we've set it up the way we'd want to find it: good beds, a kitchen you can actually cook in, and a porch you won't want to leave. We hope it feels like yours for a few days.
